Renew, Simplify & Embrace Change With Authentic Irish Equinox Jewelry

Renew, simplify and embrace change with your very own authentic Irish Equinox jewelry.
I want to tell you about my Irish Equinox jewelry and how it can bring balance into your life. The word ‘Equinox’ literally means “equal night” from the latin words aequi or “equal” and “nox” or night.
There is equal amount of daytime and nighttime which is why balance is a theme of this natural event.
There is balance of light and dark, day and night, and a balancing of the seasons in that it’s neither too hot nor too cold.
The vernal equinox is a time to start anew and let go of things that are not serving you. It brings the promise of longer days and is a time for replenishment.
The S-spiral carved in ancient sites in Ireland represents the Equinox and thus reflects balance in your life.
In ancient Ireland c.3500 BC the megalithic complex of Loughcrew was built.
There are a series of passage cairns constructed there and all with astronomical alignment. The Cairn-T passage cairn or mound in the Loughcrew complex is aligned with the Equinoxes in Spring and Autumn.

At the back of the passage to Cairn-T is a rock with multiple ancient symbols carved on it.
The equinox played an important time in this ancient Irish culture and signified rebirth, cleansing the spirit and releasing negative energies.
Wear these pieces of Irish Equinox Jewelry to signifying cleansing your spirit!
Two days before the equinox, the sun shines down this passage and illuminates the rock at the back of the passage.
Each day it progressively moves until on the day of the equinox the sunbeam shines directly on the “Equinoctial” Symbol carved on this rock.
It was and is a time of renewal, simplifying and embracing change.

The Spring Equinox is a time to reflect on the past and a time to reinvent yourselves.
Start afresh and know that you are in perfect balance.
Autumn Equinox – September 22
The autumn equinox, when day and night are of equal length. A time to honor the harvest.
Perhaps you are harvesting things you have planted or perhaps you are harvesting the results from your efforts of goals you set earlier. As the days get shorter and the nights cooler, honor your growth and illuminate the light within.
Compost the old and cultivate the new
Leaves fall from trees and nourish the soil. Like the falling leaves, let go of what does not serve you for your inner growth. Compost old ideas and self-doubt and activate your new cycle of growth. Making room for what is to come.
Balance the dark and the light
Life is like the equinox, at times it seems there is more dark than light yet through the cycles of inner growth we can find the balance of dark and light.
We learn darkness is necessary for growth. The lack of light can help strengthen your understanding. I encourage you to focus on your growth and your harvest. Honor all that you are and all that you have.
Be brave and keep your inner light lit.
