Ordering, Shipping & Returns Policy

Information on shopping and purchasing products from Deirdre Donnelly.
The photographs on this site are a representation of a work of jewelry art that will be created especially for you.
There will be slight variations in your final creation, making that piece unique to you and your collection.
Custom orders and wholesale buyers welcome.
Shipping & Handling
Because each item is personally handcrafted to order, please allow 4 – 6 weeks for delivery for earrings and pendants and 10 – 12 weeks for rings..
All orders are sent via US Post, insured, with a signature required. If this is not convenient for you, please notify us by sending an email to: email@example.com
There is a six percent sales tax on Vermont orders.
Deirdre Donnelly’s timeless jewelry should meet or exceed your expectations.
However, if you are not completely satisfied, we are pleased to offer a 14-day return policy on all purchases.
After 14 days of the shipment date, no exchanges or refunds will be issued.
To be eligible for a return, each item must be returned in the same condition as it was sent, unworn and undamaged. It must also be in the original packaging. We cannot accept it otherwise. Damaged goods due to client negligence will not be accepted for refund.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:
- Any item that has been made to order, commissioned or altered specifically for you.
- Custom work, special orders, or personalized and engraved items
Additional non-returnable items include:
- Gift cards
- Sale Items
- Earrings (due to hygiene)
- Rings, Bangles & Bracelets that have been ordered by you in the wrong size
- Made-to-Order Items
- Bespoke Items
- Commissioned Items
- Re-Modelled Items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. A printout of your order confirmation MUST accompany your return in order to receive a refund.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late Or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you wish to exchange an item for the same item or an alternative similarly priced item, send us an email at email@example.com to discuss your options.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
We are happy to repair all our own Deirdre Donnelly products. We offer a full repair and re-finishing service for all our products.
If your product is faulty due to our error we will repair it free of charge providing it is within 6 months of purchase and you have proof of receipt as outlined above – general wear and tear, or any damage to the product on your behalf, is not included.
After 6 months, all repairs will be carried out for an appropriate charge. Please get in contact with us and discuss your requirements at firstname.lastname@example.org

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
